April Fencing Camp for ages 8-13

Offered only in our Cambridge location.

Ages 8-13 exclusively.

If you're over the age of 13, your camp participation will be denied even if the website will take your registration (because of the setting limitations)

Fencing camp designed for beginner, and intermediate fencers.

Our Youth Invitational Program is encouraged to register.

The fencers will be divided by age/level: beginner fencers will acquire basic fencing skills including footwork, bladework, & distance control. We're using electrical equipment, and teach the basic scoring rules, understand fencing etiquette & sportsmanship.

More experienced fencers will focus on furthering their technique, strategic thinking, situational bouting, & conditioning.

Individual lessons are available after/before and/or during the camp hours, upon request.

Attention: askFred only collects a deposit fee, which will be included in your payment. Payments can be completed on your first day, by check, credit card, or cash.

Camp deposits are non-refundable.

Time: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Cost: $625.00/week or $135.00/day

Three minimum days are required. 10% Sibling Discount.

2-hour extended pick-up available ($15/hour)

Full fencing gear is included for non-members.

What to bring:

1. Long athletic pants (mandatory during bouting, shorts can be worn for stretching, footwork, and games).
2. Sports shoes (tennis shoes are good)
3. Extra T-shirt
4. Water bottle (a filtered water fountain is available)
5. Existing fencers need their full gear.
6. Fencing gear will be provided to those new to the club.
7. Bagged lunch.

(Iggy's bakery store is three minutes away. Trader Joe's and Whole Foods are within a half-mile distance).
