Thursday-Sunday USFCA event. Topics are business development, group/private instruction, and clinics. Lastly, take the United States Fencing Coaches Association (USFCA) certification exam.

$330 registration fee. May 23-26. Receive 17.5 units. Test for Assistant Moniteur, Moniteur, Prevot, and Maestro.

Thursday (optional)

6:30pm-8pm

Warm up and FENCE! Get to know your fellow coaching students and clinic instructors.

8pm-9pm

Club Development and financials behind a successful business. Team Touche is a vibrant club and business. Find out what makes it tick. Share your thoughts and ask questions in a laid back atmosphere. Drinks and snacks.

Friday

10am-6pm

Student Coaches will be challenged! Gather tips and tricks to make your group classes organized and FUN! Your group classes are a major source of revenue! Also begin organizing your thoughts on private lessons. “Teaching” and “option” lessons need the correct format and components to pass your board certified exam.

Saturday

12pm-8pm

Enough with the Fluff!!! Streamline your private lessons to maximize your effectiveness as a coach. Balance offense, defense and counter attacks during “option” lessons. Use the correct techniques and terminology during your “teaching” lesson. Pave your way to Maestro!!!

Sunday

9am-12:30pm

Observe or participate in our live performance clinic run by our maestros.

1pm: Practical/written exams administered by our maestros.
