Richmond Veteran's Day Open

The Annual Fall Veteran's Day Open in Virginia is being held at Richmond Fencing Club. Veteran Combined Open events, all three weapons. If there are enough women's entries to make a separate well-rated event, we will add a women's tournament if there is enough interest. Cost of entry is $30 if pre-registered, $50 at the door. Check and cash accepted at the door for entry fees - proof of US Fencing membership will be required. Competitors may be asked to show proof of age. PROOF OF VACCINATION or NEGATIVE COVID TEST REQUIRED The Virginia Division of USA Fencing requires proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test for all fencers, parents, volunteers, and USFA Professional members for an event to be sanctioned by the Virginia Division. Confirmation of vaccination or negative COVID test will occur as you walk into the venue. No one without proof will be allowed into the venue during the sanctioned events, no exceptions. Negative COVID test results (PCR or Rapid) cannot be more than 72 hours old from the day of the event. USA Fencing’s venue mask mandate is also still in effect: all participants in USA Fencing sanctioned events, including coaches, athletes, spectators, and staff, MUST wear a facemask that covers mouth and nose at all times, including during competition. This is also RFC's currently policy in order to enter the building and participate. Preregistration opens on 10/13/21. Preregistration closes on 11/11/21.
