Escrimeur Sabre Cup 2023-2024 series for girls and boys in Y8, Y10, Y12, Y14 and all Senior age groups. Skill levels: beginner to advanced. All events are USFA-sanctioned and maintained in accordance with the National and International fencing regulations and formats. To help beginner fencers stay at ease, we maintain a family friendly environment.
Top 8 places in Youth categories and top 4 places in Senior get medals. All participants accumulate Escrimeur Cup points throughout the season. At the season finale Cup champion (in each age group/gender) gets the Grand Prize - Escrimeur Cup trophy, plus top 3 fencers get various special prizes. All participants get memorabilia Escrimeur Cup string bags and ribbons.

All events are capped. Only fencers with complete online payments are considered fully registered and are guaranteed participation spots on a "first come - first served" basis.
We maintain a waitlist, but cannot guarantee participation spots to fencers on the list. As spots become available they will be offered to fencers on the waitlist on a "first come - first-served" basis.
Check this site periodically prior to the tournament for any changes. Escrimeur FC reserves the right to change the times, number of participation spots and formats based on pre-registrations.

ABOUT THE VENUE AND THE TOURNAMENT
Escrimeur fencers club is a state-of-the art fencing salle. It is located at the Fields Sports Complex in East Brunswick, NJ. Spacious lobby, lounge, snack-bar, free Wi-Fi, free parking, vending machines with snacks and beverages. Conveniently located off south-bound CR 535 (Cranbury Road), the venue is within walking distance to convenience stores, medical offices and US Post Office.
This tournament is a USFA-sanctioned competition and open only to current USFA members. Fencers must scan their USFA card at check-in. Competitive or Access USFA membership is required for Youth and Senior events. The card should have fencer's full name, USFA number, expiration date and type of membership clearly indicated. All fencers must wear USFA-required fencing attire (including above-the-knee fencing socks, 800N FIE-approved sabre glove) and have 2 working weapons and 2 working body & mask cord sets.

Competition Format:
- one round of pools with 100% promotion to direct elimination;
- no fence-off for
third place;
- medals awarded for top 8 places in Y8-Y14 and top 3 places in Senior age categories.
Fencers are responsible for ensuring accuracy of all posted information and must report errors to the bout committee immediately. Fencer signature on pool score sheets and de bout slip required.

FEES:
YOUTH EVENTS
EARLY FEE: $60 per event if registered and paid through askfred.net by midnight on Sunday the week prior to the tournament;
REGULAR FEE: $70 per event if registered and paid through askfred.net starting Monday through midnight on Saturday the week of the tournament;
WALK-IN FEE: $80 per event for walk-ins and fencers with unpaid online pre-registrations.
SENIOR EVENTS
EARLY FEE: $70 per event if registered and paid through askfred.net by midnight on Sunday the week prior to the tournament;
REGULAR FEE: $80 per event if registered and paid through askfred.net starting Monday through midnight on Saturday the week of the tournament;
WALK-IN FEE: $90 per event for walk-ins and fencers with unpaid online pre-registrations.

REFUNDS AND CREDITS POLICY
All payments are non-refundable. If you are not able to come we may issue credit towards our future events only if we are notified via email at tournaments@escrimeur.com or SMS at 732-309-8302 at least 24 hours prior to the start of event. There are absolutely no refunds or credits for no-shows.
In case of an event cancellation or time/format change, we will issue a refund or credit towards future Escrimeur tournaments. You will need to email your request to tournaments@escrimeur.com.

LIABILITY WAIVER
Upon entering this tournament you agree to abide by the current rules of the USFA and other applicable rules instituted by Escrimeur. You acknowledge you are entering this tournament at your own risk and release the USFA and its sponsors, Escrimeur, and referees from any liability. With entry you give consent to Escrimeur to obtain medical care from any licensed physician, hospital or clinic for any injury or illness that may arise during activities associated with this tournament.
