Tri-State Saber Veteran Cup

This event is one of the 6 tournaments of the 2016-2017 Tri-State Saber Veteran Cup: 6 Nov – Lilov Fencing Academy – LFA Gambit Veteran 3 Weapon 21 Jan – Tim Morehouse Fencing Club 5 Mar – Sheridan Fencing Academy 2 April – Stamford Fencing Center 4 June – Infinity Fencing Alliance – Wang Yung Cup In addition to awards for each individual tournament, the Top 3 MS finishers and the Top 3 WS finishers in the Cup point standings at the end of the season will receive awards. Points for each fencer in the 2016-2017 Cup standings will be calculated as follows: 1. The sum of that fencer’s 4 best scores across the 6 events (if a fencer fences in fewer than 4 events, their points will reflect the results from each of the events fenced) 2. Points awarded at each event will vary based on the number and letter rating of participants: a. Each participating fencer will be assigned a value based on their rating (U=2, E=3, D=4, C=5, B=6, A=7) b. Each fencer will earns the number of points equal to the total value of all the fencers who finish below them, plus 2 points. Events Scheduled: Vet Combined Women's Saber Vet Combined Men's Saber Preregistration opens on 10/21/2016. Preregistration closes on 01/11/2017.
