3rd Official San Diego Cup Youth Epee Event of the season. Sanctioned. Youth events limited to Y10, Y12 and Y14 age groups event. Medals given to top 3 athletes. Points for all SD Cup youth events will accumulate over the season to name a season Champion.

10 am - Y10 Mixed Epee 12:30 pm - Y14 Men's Epee 12:30 pm - Y14 Women's Epee 3 pm - Y12 Mixed Epee (Genders will be mixed if an event has fewer than 5 competitors, not mixed if there are more) $40 with preregistration. Payment on AskFred is required. $50 day of event (walk - in) The San Diego Youth Cup is a series of tournaments held over the course of the season designed to name an overall Men's and Women's Champion for each weapon. Points are awarded at every tournament! COVID Protocols (as of 8/23) This tournament is subject to state laws and orders regarding COVID-19. We will update our COVID protocols as we determine a venue. All our protocols will be in line with the State, County, and USA Fencing rules. Tournament Format: Standard- Single round of pools, 100% promotion to single Direct elimination table. Medals will be awarded to the top 4 finishers. Genders will be mixed if an event has fewer than 5 competitors. All competitors receive points, and lists will be separated by gender. Points awards are given out at the final youth event. Gloves with holes, rips, tape or loose seams will not be approved. Armorers reserve the right to decline any equipment that is not clean and dry. Volunteers: Please help us run the events even smoother by volunteering. Fencers and supporters alike will benefit from learning the process from start to finish. This knowledge will assuredly give you a competitive edge. Officials: If you'd like to be an official referee, time keeper or floor judge for an event, please contact us. info@encinitasfencing.com Fencers: Please bring proof of current USFA membership or register on-site. Entry fee is $30 if pre-registered or $45 day-of. Mask check and glove checks are mandatory. Current USFA rules will be applied. http://www.usfencing.org/usa-fencing-rule-book Foreign Fencers with a current Fencing License from their National Federation or with an FIE License will be allowed to fence, but are not covered by USA Fencing Insurance and participate at their own risk.
