The Lil' Bobcat is designed for both beginning and more advanced Youth and Cadet Fencers. Come join the the fun for the new fencing season.

Location: Jowers Upper Gymansium 221-222, Texas State University, San Marcos, TX Jowers Gymnasium access is best acheived from the back side of the building along the JOWERS ACCESS RD a.k.a. CITY PARK ST (off of Charles Austin Drive). One may enter from the glass foyer (turn left upon entering and go up the stairs), or from Door 05, 25 yards past the dumpster, before reaching the end of the building. (Enter door 05 and go straight, up the stairway.) The Lil' Bobcat is designed for both beginning and more advanced Youth and Cadet Fencers. Come join the the fun for the new fencing season. Gym Opens 8:00AM Y-12 Foil 9:00AM Y-10 Foil 11:00AM Y-14 Foil 1:00PM Cadet Foil 3:00PM All events are non-USA Fencing events, (considered "Practice Tournaments"), however participants must have (at least) the minimum USA Fencing Non-Competitive Membership. Memberships are available at the door. All participants must have a Waiver of Liability signed by a parent or legal guardian. Signatures by Coaches are not acceptable. Memberships forms for USA Fencing also require legal forms of consent. Whereas Non-Competitive Memberships in USA Fencing do not offer Membership Cards, it will be necessary to provide proof (receipt of payment) for such, or be purchased at the door. Competitive Members of USA Fencing must show a current membership card or proof of payment. Cost: $25 for first event. $15 for additional event if pre-registered. $35 for first event. $15 for additional event at the door. Pre-registration closes at 11:59PM Aug. 27, 2015. USA Fencing age group format/rules will be followed. This includes blade length requirements and DE formats. All participants must have the required conductive foil mask/bib.
