Tournament Fees: $25.00 First event $15.00 each additional event Events Scheduled: Sunday April 23 10:00 AM Senior Mixed Foil 10:00 AM Y10 Mixed Foil 12:00 PM Y12 Mixed Foil 2:00 PM Y14 Mixed Foil Birth Year Eligibility 2016-2017 season: Y10 2006-2009 Y12 2004-2007 Y14 2002-2005 TOURNAMENT FORMAT All events will be one round of pools with 100% promotion to direct eliminations. Pools of 6 or 7 (whenever possible; however, equal pools sizes with 100% of the fencers promoted to a DE tableau. For Y10 direct elimination bouts are 10 touch bouts (2 three minute periods with 1 minute break in between). During the 1 minute break, ONE person, designated by the fencer (a teammate, coach, or parent), may be on the strip with the fencer. For Y12, Y14 and Senior events, DE bouts are 15 touch bouts (3 three minute periods with a 1 minute break between). During the 1 minute breaks, ONE person, designated by the fencer (a teammate, coach, or parent), may be on the strip with the fencer. Minors must have a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian. Preregistration opens on 03/15/2017. Preregistration closes on 04/22/2017.
