San Diego Cup Bianchini Trophy Sabre Youth #1 Sabreurs may fence more than one event per day. Sunday September 3rd 2017. Events Scheduled: Y10 Mixed Sabre - 9:00am Y12 Mixed Sabre - 10:00am Y14 Mixed Sabre - 11:30am JR Mixed Sabre - CANCELED Unsanctioned Open Mixed - 12:00pm $25 with preregistration $40 day of event The San Diego Cup for Youth and Juniors is a series of tournaments held over the course of the seasondesigned to name an overall Men’s and Women’s Champion for each weapon. Points are awarded at every tournament! Tournament Format: Standard- Single round of pools, 100% promotion to single Direct elimination table. Medals will be awarded to the top 4 finishers. Genders will be mixed if an event has fewer than 5 competitors. All competitors receive points, and lists will be separated by gender. Points awards are given out at the final youth event. Gloves with holes, rips, tape or loose seams will not be approved. Volunteers: Please help us run the events even smoother by volunteering. Fencers and supporters alike will benefit from learning the process from start to finish. This knowledge will assuredly give you a competitive edge. Officials: If youd like to be an official referee, time keeper or floor judge for an event, please contact us info@goldensabre.academy Fencers: Please bring proof of current USFA membership or register on-site. Entry fee is $25 if pre-registered or $40 day-of. Mask check and glove checks are mandatory. Current USFA rules will be applied. http://www.usfencing.org/usa-fencing-rule-book Foreign Fencers with a current Fencing License from their National Federation or with an FIE License will be allowed to fence, but are not covered by USA Fencing Insurance and participate at their own risk.
