Welcome to our second annual novice event! This year features Unrated, gendered events for each weapon hosted at Fike Recreation Center on Clemson's campus.
Come join us at Clemson University for the 2025 Death Valley Duel! USA Fencing Competitive, Collegiate Competitive, or Access membership is required.PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED TO FENCE. THOSE WITHOUT PRE-REGISTRATION WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO FENCE. PRE-REGISTRATION CLOSES ON APRIL 9TH. In order to have your pre-registration approved, YOU MUST PRE-PAY for all events. There will be NO refunds. All events will be capped at 14 Fees are $15 for registration and $20 per event. Armory will be checking masks and gloves (for all weapons), Saber 800 N golves required. Doors open at 9:00 AM. Please park in metered spots or purchase a day pass for the green spaces here: https://www.clemson.edu/campus-life/parking/parking-permits/permits/visitor-permits.html . Events Scheduled: Unrated Women's Epee (9:30 AM), Unrated Men's Epee (9:30 AM), Unrated Women's Foil (12:00 PM), Unrated Men's Foil (12:00 PM), Unrated Women's Saber (2:30 PM), and Unrated Men's Saber (2:30 PM)
**THIS EVENT IS HELD IN A DIFFERENT SECTION OF FIKE RECREATION CENTER THAN THE TIGER OPEN**
The event will be held in the Club Sports Gym, bottom floor of Fike across from the main courts. The Clemson Fencing banner will be hung outside the door.
