Windy Hill Fencing Center & Phoenix Fencing Academy jointly sponsor FENCE LIKE A GIRL, women's only fencing tournament! Lets show the boys how its done! We're going to celebrate women in fencing. Free t-shirts, give-away gifts, girl power!


Events offered

  1. 8 Sanctioned events in Epee, Foil & Saber. $30 registration fee no matter how many events in which you fence.
  2. 1 Unsanctioned women's epee event for NOVICE fencers ONLY 2:00pm. (novice: never competed in tournament) As this event is Unsanctioned, some exceptions may be made, such as not requiring fencing pants. All other fencing gear is required. USFA membership not required for THIS EVENT ONLY. Reduced registration fee for this event is $20


Membership Requirements

  1. USA Fencing Membership: A valid USA Fencing membership is required to compete in any of the Sanctioned events, Access level membership is sufficient. Please ensure your membership is current before the tournament.


Equipment Inspection

  1. Masks and Gloves: All masks and gloves will be inspected prior to competition. Please arrive with sufficient time for this process.


Refereeing

  1. Self-Refereed Senior Events: All Senior events will be self-refereed. When fencers are acting as referees, they will have the same authority as an official referee. Youth events will have dedicated referees.
