Event Scheduled: Birmingham Fencing Club Sabre Bobathon Saturday, September 18, 2004 E & Under Mixed Sabre - 1 P.M. close of registration Cost: $10 registration fee; $5 late fee for registration at the door Awards: Through 3rd place, with separate awards for men and women in this mixed event Pre-registration is important! This event is being held in the club facility and only 3 strips will be available for this event. Registration is limited to a maximum of 21 fencers. Current USFA membership required! You will need to show proof of your membership, either by card or by fax from the USFA. You may renew or join at the tournament. Forms can be downloaded at http://www.usfencing.org. Fencers under 18 years of age must have a parent or guardian signature on their USFA membership form (if renewing or joining at the door) and on the tournament registration form (available for download at http://www.fencingclub.org) Venue: Birmingham Fencing Club, 1425 Montgomery Highway, Birmingham, Alabama 35216 Bobathon Series -- The Birmingham Fencing Club will host a series of small developmental tournaments this season, to be known as the "Bobathon" series. All Bobathon tournaments will be held at the Birmingham Fencing Club facility. All Bobathons will be E & Under events in one weapon. All Bobathons will be held at 1 PM on a Saturday, immediately following the regular Saturday morning classes at the club. All Bobathons will be held on no more than 3 fencing strips, and will have a maximum of 21 entries. Mask checks will be performed prior to competition. You must wear a plastron. USFA rules apply.
