Freehold Fencing's "OUT DOOR " Youth Foil/Epee

This event is sanctioned by the USFA's New Jersey division. ***Only Region3 Fencers can participate in this event*** COVID-19 POLICIES: - All people must wear a face covering when entering the club. - NO WALK-INS allowed. - Only fencers who are on the strip may remove their face covering for that bout (if they would like). - All bouts will take place outdoors on grounded strips. - Each event is limited to 15 fencers. - Social distancing at all time. Events Scheduled: Y10 Mixed Epee - 9:00 am Y12-14 Mixed Epee - 10:00 am Y10 Mixed Foil - 12:00 pm Y12-14 Mixed Foil - 2:00 pm Birth Year Requirements: Y8 - Born between 2012 - 2015 Y10 - Born between 2010 - 2013 Y12 - Born between 2008 - 2011 OR on Y10 NRPS Y14 - Born between 2006 - 2009 OR on Y12 NRPS All fencers Must wear required fencing attire and bring at least 2 working weapons and 2 working body cords. Valid USFA membership is required. You MUST show your USFA card or have proof that payment has been made. You may join at the door (parent signature required for fencers under age 18),however please arrive with a completed form (available at usfencing.org) or plan to come early to complete required paperwork. Please have separate checks made out to USFA for your USFA membership payment. NO-SHOW POLICY: We are trying to discourage people from pre-registering and not showing up. If you are listed as pre-registered in the 24 hours before close of check-in and you do not show up, your name goes on a warning list. If you do so again you will not be able to pre-register for Freehold Fencing Academy events for the next calendar year. This means that you won't be able to pre-register via askFRED and you will have to compete as a walk-in entry. If you pre-register and cannot show up, simply remove your name from the pre-registration list. ** Liability Waiver - Upon entering this tournament you agree to abide by the current rules of the USFA and other applicable rules instituted by Freehold Fencing Academy. You acknowledge you are entering this tournament at your own risk and release the USFA and its sponsors, Freehold Fencing Academy, and referees from any liability. With entry you give consent to Freehold Fencing Academy to obtain medical care from any licensed physician, hospital or clinic for any injury or illness that may arise during activities associated with this tournament. ** Fee: $50 if preregistered and pay at the door. $25-for each additional event.
