Northern California Div II/III/Vet/Y14 Epee Summer National Qualifiers Please note that the Northern California Division will be running separate Div II and Div III events.(Veterans who are rating eligible, may fence either event to qualify for vets at Summer Nationals) For Div II, if you qualify(top 25% of participants, with a minimum of 3) and are rated D or lower, you also qualify for Div III. This qualifier is for Northern California Division members only! Please check your USFA membership for your division affiliation. Times are subject to change, Please make sure your current email is in askfred! Events Scheduled: Doors Open 2:30 Div 2 (C and Under) Menâs Epee - 3:30 Div 2 (C and Under) Womenâs Epee - 3:30 Div 3 (D and Under) Menâs Epee - 4:15 Div 3 (D and Under) Womenâs Epee - 4:15 Y14 Menâs Epee - 5 Y14 Womenâs Epee - 5 $30 - Regular online registration closes Monday before the event $45 - Late online registration up to Thursday midnight before the event. $60 - At the door registration Refund deadline: 72 hours before the event Payment is required for complete online registration, if you prefer not to pay online, please contact the organizer. Format: 1. Pool Unique(single pool) with no DE only for the events with 3 or less fencers as they are qualified anyway. 2. Pool Unique with DE for all events with 4 to 9 fencers 3. Multiple Pools and DE for all events with 10 or more fencers. COVID PROTOCOLS Following current USFA policy: Proof of Vaccination: Individuals who have completed a COVID vaccine series (Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson, AstraZeneca, Novavak, Sinovac, Sinopharm, Covaxin, or CoronaVac) 14 days prior to arrival at the venue will NOT need to obtain a negative PCR or antigen test result. All attendees of the tournament who have been approved for a medical or religious exemption by the USA Fencing National Office must provide their approval email received from the National Office, as well as a negative PCR test result within 72 hours, to enter the venue. This includes athletes and staff, as well as all coaches and spectators. Proof of your vaccination, or negative COVID-19 test result and exemption must be presented for entrance. Facemasks: All participants in USA Fencing sanctioned events, including coaches, athletes, spectators and staff, MUST wear a facemask that covers mouth and nose at all times, except when actively fencing. Masks must be kept on during weapons testing and can be removed right before fencing commences, and must be replaced afterwards. Also note that breaks between DE periods have returned to 60 seconds instead of 90 seconds. Social Distancing: Everyone should practice proper social distancing measures at all times while in the venue. Handshakes: Athletes are to salute at the conclusion of a bout and touch blades in lieu of shaking hands with each other, the referee or coaches. We will not be able to allow the entrance of anyone who did not follow these guidelines and will not be able to refund the fees for non-admission. Preregistration opens on 4/13/2022.
