Kyle Maysel Memorial

Welcome to Corpus Christi's summer tournament! This year it honors the late Kyle Maysel that was instrumental in bringing fencing to the Coastal Bend and features Mixed Y14 &Senior Events! Come visit Padre Island and cross blades with us at the mall that is 15 minutes from the beach! Cost is $20 registration fee and $10 for each weapon. All fencers must be USFA competitive members. Referees from the Sat seminar are expected to compete, so bring your whites and fencing equipment. All masks and gloves will be inspected prior to fencing. Sunrise Mall is located at 5858 South Padre Island Drive. To get to the tournament, park the parking garage that faces SPID and go into the entrance at Chelsea's. Once in the building continue walking to the center of the mall where the escaladers and fountains are. The mall does not officially open until 12:00 on Sundays, so there will be a security guard from 9:00 to 12:00 to let fencers into the building ONLY at the Chealsea's entrance. Your name must be on the Ask Fred list to be let into the mall. If someone else is coming with you, email Grace at graceatbayarea@gmail.com and she can add their name to the list.
