2019 Winter Saber Camp

DATES & TIMES: November 25 – 27 First Training Session (Mon., Nov. 25) 1:00 pm – 4:30 pm Second Training Session (Tues., Nov. 26) 1:00 pm – 4:30 pm Third Training Session (Wed., Nov. 27) 1:00 pm – 4:30 pm LOCATION: Texas International Fencing Center 1505 Airport Rd. STE 300 Rockwall. TX 75087 CAMP CONTENTS: – practice and competitive fencing bouts – fencing bouts with different missions and tasks – fencing strategies & technique – intensive foot work & blade work – stretching & coordination exercises – general & fencing specific fitness exercises Individual Lessons are available before/after the camp hours upon request WHAT TO BRING: – small towel – extra T-shirts – complete competition fencing uniform (including under arm protector, knickers and high socks) – 2-3 working weapons and body cords COACHING STAFF: Hector Florencia – Ranked 7th Globally in the 21 and under category (Junior) – Placed top 8 in Junior World Championships – 15 years of fencing experience – Has attended over 20 world cups and 7 world championships with the Mexican National Team Andrew Gregory – 16 years of coaching experience – Gained Coaching certification at the United States Olympic Training Center – Extensive experience training students competing at the National level and beyond PRICE: Texas Saber Alliance Members (Texas International Fencing Center, Lone Star Fencing Center, Kairos Fencing Academy): $225 / for all three days ($75 / single day) Non–Members: $300 / for all three days ($100 / single day) We accept payments thru askfred.net and at the door. Registration and waiver forms will be provided at the facility. We accept credit/debit card, checks, and cash Checks are payable to: Texas International Fencing Center (1505 Airport Rd. Credit card payments will incur a 5% additional charge. Family discount of 25% per additional family member. Discount is taken from the full cost of the camp.
