FRED Announces Fence For Furry Friends -- A benefit tournament supporting Seattle Animal Shelter’s Help theAnimal Fund ------------------ Important Info: ------------------- Tournament: Fence For Furry Friends Date(s): 06/07/2003 Location: North Seattle Community College Wellness Center 9600 College Way N Seattle WA 98103 Event --- Registration Closes -Mixed Open Foil --- REG CLOSE TIME (9:30 am) -Mixed Open Epee --- REG CLOSE TIME (1:00 pm) -Mixed Open Saber --- REG CLOSE TIME (3:00 pm) 8:30 am Doors Open & Equipment Check Registration: $20 for first event, $5 foradditional weapon All proceeds will be donated to the Seattle Animal Shelter’s Help theAnimal Fund. Pools to direct elimination with 100% promotion. Fencers competing in two or more events must report to the strip whencalled or they may be scratched from the event. Proof of USFA membership (or equivalent) will be required of allparticipants at check-in. Please bring your current USFA membershipcard. You may join or renew your USFA membership at the door. All weapons will be scored electrically. We will inspect and markmasks, lames, and body cords. Full USFA regulation uniform isrequired, including plastron, knickers, and knee-length socks. Nojeans or sweatpants allowed. NO equipment will be available for loanat the venue so please check that your equipment is in good workingcondition before arriving. ALL FENCERS MUST SIGN WAIVER FORM of the North Seattle CommunityCollege before event. This form will be provides on the day of theevent to all participants. Fencers under 18 year of age must have thesignature of parent or guardian to participate in this event.
