This is a Y8 (kids born in 2008-2010) mixed foil tournament (i.e., boys and girls fence in the same event). We invite parents from any club to sign up your young fencer for this fun tournament where they will fence with opponents of their age!
With so many young fencers aged 6, 7 and 8 they lack an opportunity to fence in more "fair" play field against the same age opponents. We want to give the kids this feeling of being on equal ground. We welcome parents from all around the Bay Area to sign up and join this tournament!
Prices will be given to the top 8 finishers, and top 4 would be medalled.
Event fees: $20/event
To fence in this tournament fencer must be at least non-competitive member of USFA.
