ELIGIBIILTY Must be born 2009 or earlier Must be EITHER Access or Competitive USFencing member. Noncompetitive membership is not acceptable. New membership year starts August 1, 2022. REGISTRATION FEES Preregistration fee: $35 Medals awarded to top 3(4) Events are limited to 42 fencers. There is no waitlist. If capacity is reached you will have to monitor the site for withdrawals. Preregistration without payment is not considered a complete registration. If you do not complete your registration with payment by the stated deadline, you will not fence. There are no walk-ins. Incomplete registrations will be deleted by the organizers when we are close to the cap limit. The division is not responsible for any payment issues on askfred. REFUNDS/WITHDRAWALS No refunds after October 8, 2022 Unless otherwise stated, refunds will not be issued unless requested by the close of preregistration (10/8). No refunds will be issued after the stated preregistration deadline (10/2) FOR ANY REASON including COVID. Refund requests must be made to the organizer (merritt55@comcast.net)before the preregistration deadline. Please note: refunds are NOT credited to your credit card. We must send a check so please, if you request a refund, put your address in the email. No refunds for self-withdrawal. Please do not self-withdraw. Contact organizer (merritt55@comcast.net) so others in event may be notified if registration drops below the cap number (or 6). If event is cancelled you will receive an email requesting address for refund. OTHER INFORMATION CURRENT USFencing COVID POLICY (subject to change) - Properly worn masks are required by all fencers (except when fencing), coaches, referees, and spectators. One spectator per minor-aged participant only. Please be considerate of our neighbors and do not park in front of loading docks or garage doors, or in spaces marked for other tenants (including those marked "visitor". YOU WILL BE TOWED! There is additional parking available in the lot across the street. PLEASE NOTE: If you earn a classification higher than an E before this event and you are already registered you may still fence. Earning a higher classification after registration does not make you ineligible to compete in this event. Event times may change depending on entries. When men's and women's events are to start at the same time or within 30 minutes of each other, the meets may be combined at the discretion of the meet managers if either event has fewer than six entries. Events will be mixed if fewer than 6 preregistered competitors and cancelled if fewer than six when mixed. If Saturday women's events do not reach 6 and there is room to add to men's events to create a mixed event, you will be notified. You may fence in only one individual event event per day scheduled for the same time. If you register for two events on the same day, you MUST present yourself at the appropriate strip when called or withdraw. We will not hold up an event if you are still fencing in another event.
