The Ned Light Memorial RYC (Region 6 RYC)

Mid-South Fencers Club is proud to offer the Ned Light Memorial RYC for Foil & Saber January 12 & 13, 2013. Events include Y10, Y12, Y14, as well as Cadet in both Foil & Saber. Tournament Fees: $15 registration fee, $20 per event Mid-South Fencers Club is located close to Duke University and is within walking distance of a coffee shop as well as numerous restaurants. Additional restaurants, shopping, and entertainment are located in the downtown Durham area only a few miles away. The Durham Visitors Guide can be found here: http://durhamnc.reachlocal.net/ Events Scheduled: Y10 Women's Foil Y10 Women's Saber Y10 Men's Foil Y10 Men's Saber Y12 Women's Foil Y12 Women's Saber Y12 Men's Foil Y12 Men's Saber Y14 Women's Foil Y14 Women's Saber Y14 Men's Foil Y14 Men's Saber Cadet (U17) Mixed Foil Cadet (U17) Mixed Saber Events of the same age category will be combined men's and women's if there are 6 or fewer participants. There will still be separate prizes for men and women. USFA Competitive membership required. Please bring proof of USFA membership to speed up the checkin process. USFA uniform requirements will be enforced including conductive bib for foil. Names are NOT required to be stenciled on the knickers or lame. Since this a national qualifying event, we are required to verify the age of all participants. The following proof of age can be accepted according the USFA: Government issued ID, Copy of Birth Certificate, or a Passport. This event also is considered a Priority on Youth Event for our Mid-South Fencers Club Priority on Youth points list.
