RCFC Thursday D & Under Tournament of Champions

FRED Announces the RCFC Thursday Night D & Under Tournament of Champions 6:30 PM, Thursday, June 24th Rain CIty Fencing Center presents our last Thursday night foil tournament of the season. There will be prizes, T-shirts, and fun! This tournament is open to all D & under foil fencers, but we would like to specially invite all of the gold medalists from our previous E & under tournaments to come and fence (assuming they're still D's!). All past Thursday night champions who enter will receive a free T-shirt. We are holding this tournament a week later than usual to avoid conflict with our classes, and so that we can close registration at 6:30PM to accommodate more fencers. Fencing will begin no later than 7:00. ------------------ Important Info: ------------------- Tournament: RCFC Thursday D & Under Tournament of Champions Date(s): 06/24/2004 Location: Rain City Fencing Center Mixed E & Under Foil --- Registration closes at 6:30 PM Entry fee is $5. Current (2003-2004) USFA membership or equivalent is required; you may join or renew at the door. Full regulation uniform, including underarm protector, fencing pants and long socks, is required. RCFC has equipment for sale. Registration will be limited to the first 36 competitors. Be sure to pre-register early to hold a spot! Format is one round of pools followed by direct elimination. Promotion to DEs will be based on the number of competitors and time available.
