Preparation for Summer Nationals Week #2 for Y-14, CDT, JNR, SNR Week #1 for Youth 8 - 12 DATES & TIMES: Monday: 9am - 12pm + 3pm - 5pm Youth 8,10, Cadet and Junior 12pm - 3pm + 5pm - 7pm Youth 12 and 14 Tuesday: 9am - 12pm + 3pm - 5pm Youth 8, 10 and 12 12pm - 3pm + 5pm - 7pm Youth 14, Cadet and Junior Wednesday: 9am - 12pm + 3pm - 5pm All girls and all Youth 8 and 10 Fencers 12pm - 3pm + 5pm - 7pm All boys and for Youth 12, 14, cadet and Junior Thursday: 9am - 12pm + 3pm - 5pm Youth 12, 14 and cadet 12pm - 3pm + 5pm - 7pm Youth 8, 10 and Junior Friday: 9am - 12pm + 3pm - 5pm All boys and for Youth 12, 14, cadet and Junior 12pm - 3pm + 5pm - 7pm All girls and all Youth 8 and 10 Fencers LOCATION: Alliance Fencing Academy 1212A Cedar Post Lane Houston, TX. 77055 CAMP CONTENTS: – practice and competitive fencing bouts (at least 3 hours daily) – fencing bouts with different missions and tasks – fencing strategies & technique – intensive foot work & blade work – stretching & coordination exercises – general & special fitness exercises – fencing videos reviews Individual Lessons are available after/before the camp hours upon request WHAT TO BRING: – lunch (Alliance will provide water and healthy snacks only. A refrigerator and microwave are available for personal use) – small towel – extra T-shirts – complete fencing uniform (including under arm protector, knickers and high socks) – 2-3 working weapons and body cords Andrey Geva (Camp Director) – Team USA Olympic and National Coach – 2006 USFA Developmental Coach of the Year – 28 years of coaching experience COACHING STAFF: Andrey Geva (Camp Director) – Team USA Olympic and National Coach – 2006 USFA Developmental Coach of the Year – 28 years of coaching experience Natalie Dostert – Team USA designated coach for international events – Epee Coach at the Olympic Fencing Club, Bonn, Germany – 8 years of coaching experience Dorian Jimenez – Head Epee Coach at the Manuel Fajardo Fencing School, Villa Clara, Cuba – Cuban Junior National Champion – 9 years of coaching experience ACCOMMODATIONS: Accommodation with Alliance's hosting families is available upon request, and depends on availability.
