52nd Annual Green Gator

The University of Florida welcomes fencers to the 52nd Annual Green Gator. First event $30, subsequent events $25. Officially sanctioned. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ALL FENCERS MUST HAVE CURRENT USFA COMPETITIVE MEMBERSHIP. REMINDER: Registration closes Saturday 1/27/2018. WALK-IN POLICY: Fencers who did not register by Saturday, 1/27, and still wish to compete may do so for increased fees: First event $60, subsequent events $40. WEAPON AND EQUIPMENT CHECK: We will check for masks and gloves for all three weapons. Foil fencers must have a conductive bib. Saber fencers must use an 800N glove as per USFA regulation. FOOD AND DRINK: Food and drink with the exception of water is NOT permitted inside the gym. Food and drinks other than water may be kept and consumed outside in the picnic area. This is the policy of the gym space we are using. OFFICIALS: The referee assigner/hirer is Todd Kozlowski. All referees for all events are certified and rated officials. PARKING AND VENUE: On the weekends, all parking is open in the Southwest Recreation Center lot, as well as the Commuter Lot across the road. The venue is basketball courts 5 and 6, with a fencing-specific entrance on the North side of the building. COLLEGE STUDENTS: The University of Florida Fencing Team happily welcomes all collegiate fencers from across the southeastern region.
