This is a fun part of the learning process. FRFC member only tournament. Pre-registration is required. All fencers report at 5pm.
All entries read carefully: Pre-registration opens on 3/4/2024. Pre-registration closes on 4/12/2024. All fencers report at 5:00pm. Check-in closes 5:15pm. Finish times depend on number of entries in that fencer's age group.
Mask, epee and glove inspection at check in. Since this is a club member only tournament fencing clothing is the same as for practice. We ask fencers with knickers to please wear them.
This event is free to all current month FRFC membership.
Note age is as of 1/1/24 Only one event per fencer. Fencers may "fence up" in age groups with coach permission. Y10 (10 and under), Y12 (12 and under), Y14 (14 and under), Cadet (Under 17), Junior (Under 20).
Spectators may bring small folding lawn chairs for seating. No seating is to be removed from any hall or classroom. Thank you. No food or drink for anyone (other than water) allowed in the gym.
Volunteers are highly encouraged. Parents can learn to keep score and time. Contact Coach Kathryn. This is a great way for parents to learn how their fencer's competitions will run.
