The Utah-Southern Idaho Division Qualifiers are for those men and women wishing to qualify for Summer National Division 2, 3, and Youth 14 in foil, epee, and saber.
Utah-Southern Idaho Division Qualifier Information
Qualifying events are for those wishing to compete in Summer National Division 2, 3, (born 2010 or earlier) and Youth 14 (born 2009-2012.) Registration for all division qualifier events closes on Thursday, March 14 at midnight, MT. Check-in times for all events will be updated by noon on Friday, March 15. Events with one, two, or three fencers will not be fenced, as up to three fencers will auto qualify. No medals will be given for division qualifying events.
- Fencers must have a current U.S. Fencing Competitive or Access membership to fence qualifying events.
- Each fencer must wear a complete fencing uniform, including padded chest protector (required for women, optional for men.)
- D and Under fencers who qualify for Division 2, are auto qualified for Division 3 in the same weapon.
- Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the published check-in time. Facility opens at 7:00 a.m.
Spring Foil-Saber Open Information
Open events are for fencers 13 and older (born 2010 or earlier.) Registration for all Spring Foil-Saber Open events closes on Thursday, March 28 at midnight, MT. Check-in times for all events will be updated by noon on Friday, March 29 if needed.
- Fencers must have a current U.S. Fencing Competitive or Access membership to fence Spring Foil-Saber Open events.
- Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the published check-in time.
- Each fencer must wear a complete fencing uniform, including padded chest protector (required for women, optional for men.)
- All events will be used to teach fencers and others how to officiate bouts. Please support the efforts of all who are learning to officiate.
- Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the published check-in time. Facility opens at 7:00 a.m.
Medals
- 3 or fewer fencers - none
- 4 to 8 fencers - Top 2
- 9 to 15 fencers - Top 4
- 16 or more fencers - Top 8
