This is our second annual unsanctioned sabre tournament at the Railean Distillery in San Leon. Come for fun, fencing and socializing! The fencing will be self-refereed, sme as last year.
Welcome to the 2nd Railean Invitational Sabre Tournament. Due to the specialized age restrictions and unconventional venue/strip, this is a NON-USFA event. Max 16 fencers. Invitations going out. Must be approved. This competition will be self-refereed. Fee: $40.00 (covers fencing and tour/tasting later... also pays for the prizes!) Events Scheduled: Senior Mixed Adult 21 & Over Saber CLOSE OF REGISTRATION: 1PM This event is held at the Railean Distillery in San Leon, TX in Galveston County. They are distillers of rums, vodka and "agave spirits" (We are not in Mexico so it cannot be called tequila.) http://www.railean.com/ Prizes will be awarded to the top 4. Competitors MUST be 21 years of age or older. The prizes will be... liquid... and consumable. Following the fencing there follows a tour of the distillery and the tastings.
