PLEASE update your USAFencing membership if you have not already. Access, competitive, collegiate competitive, and coach memberships will be valid for this local tournament. If you are a college fencer, please make sure your team updates their roster to USAFencing to remove your (pending) status. We have several college fencers that need to do this.
If you are registered, but are not able to attend, please remove your name off the registration list or message me to do so. We have people on a waiting list wanting to attend.
This is a USAFencing sanctioned event, so fencers must wear proper gear to compete (800N glove for saber, FIE softchest plates for female foiliest, etc.). We will have limited gear for sale.
There will be plenty of parking and restaurants in the area. If you are arriving for the early events (11:00am or earlier), please park at the back mall entrance behind the JCPenney. We will have to let people in through the maintenance entrance since the mall technically opens up at 11:00am Saturday and 12:00pm Sunday.
Lastly, the event will be held in 2 different rooms on the same side of the mall. We will have 8-9 fencing strips total with enough referees. We will try to keep each event in the same room(s) so there won't be too much confusion. Each room will have space to leave bags in. Please no warming up in the main areas of the mall unless you want the mall security to yell at you.
