TFA "C" and Under

FRED Announces the TFA "C" and Under Tournament Fencers who are 13yrs or older and are ranked either a C,D,E or are Unranked are eligible to fence. COST:$15 for each event if pre-registered$10 registration fee at door (waived if registered at AskFred by 2/1) FORMAT:Max. 50% of field receives medals (Ex. Minimum 7 fencers required in an event for 4 medals to be awarded). 100% promotedfrom first round into a table of direct elimination. RULES:All fencing is electric and USFA rules will be applied (pants must overlap jacket by 10cm (approx. 5in.), socks required to comeup to pants, underarm protector required). If you don't have electric equipment borrow some from your club. The Texas Fencing Academy will have some equipment available for rental ($5) on a first come first served basis. Proof of USFA membership is required. Don't let this stop you. We'll have membership forms at the door ($30/year).
