All the events are capped, enroll fast and secure your chance to become the Florida District Champion!


Although all events are mixed we will award the top male fencer and the top female fencer in each age group as champions of their category.

In the categories that the numbers allow it, we will separate male and female events.


The event will be held at the Orange County convention center during the USA FIT Sport Convention.

With over 20 sports events, 300+ exhibitors and 180,000+ attendees, the USA FIT Games is one of the largest sports events in the country.

From wrestling and power lifting to Highland Games and even Sumo this event will be one of the best sports event you have ever attended.

This event is licensed by the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) and sanctioned by the Fencing League of America (FLA), all fencers must to hold a current AAU athlete membership.


The ratings will awarded by Fencing League of America including youth events.


ABOUT AAU

With more than 40 sports, 750,000 members and 134 years since its inception, AAU is the largest and the oldest sports organization in the world.

AAU/FLA is heavily focused on youth athletes and making the sport accesible for all, regardless of their financial circumstances or limitations.


RULES:


Competition will be played by FLA and adopted AAU Rules. (Based on the international FIE rules)


COACHES EDUCATION: The AAU is happy to make available FREE Coaches' Education for all AAU non-athlete members. This program is administered by Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA). Positive Coaching Alliance is a national nonprofit dedicated to fostering a positive youth sports culture that builds character and helps children and young people learn essential social and emotional skills. Athletes 12 and younger are allowed to participate in ONE age group above their own. Athletes 13 or older are allowed to participate above their age group all the way to SNR.


This event will award FLA State FLA points.

INITIAL SEEDING will be determined by FLA ratings. Check your current rating at http://www.fencingleagueofamerica.org


FORMAT


All events will use the AAU National Fencing format. (Pools-Direct Elimination)

If possible, events could be separated by gender.

All events require a minimum of 5 participants to be rated

All entrants should check-in at least 30 minutes prior to the start of their event.


AWARDS

(1) Gold, (1)Silver and (2) Bronze medals will be awarded to the top four finishers in each event. Additional awards will be given all the way to 8th place for youth events only.
