Maestra Dorina Vaccaroni Junior/Youth/Y10 Clinic

2-6pm… Come join 4-time fencing Olympian and former world cup holder Dorina Vaccaroni for a 4-hour clinic. Foil and epee fencers are welcome with an emphasis on foil. There will be a heavy emphasis on conditioning, form, cross-training, and the psychology of succeeding in competitions. This clinic is for kids under 18, younger and older, beginner and skilled. MFA coaches and additional staff will be on-board to support the event. We’ll separate out the group into 2 groups using age and skill. The first half of the clinic will focus on conditioning and form. The second half will be on strip critiques, theme bouts, and Q&A. This will be a high energy event so please come prepared with water bottles and refreshments. All fencers will need their own equipment. MFA will provide a post clinic pizza event. The cost of this initial event will be $200. After the event we’ll plan on monthly clinics based on feedback we get from this one. Preregistration opens on 11/10/2021.
