Coaching Clinic and Examination, conducted by Maitre d'Armes Peter Burchard, President, USA Fencing Association Preregistration opens on 09/08/2021. Preregistration closes on 10/22/2021. Max. 16 Attendees Coaching Seminar Subject: - Foil, Epee’ , Sabre - Youth and Adult Instruction - Individual and Group Lessons - Concepts & Terms - Preparation for Certification*, Assistant Moniteur and Moniteur levels Certification Requirement: - Seminar Attendance - On-line Exam Successful “Pass” prior to Seminar, (Weapon Appropriate) https://member.usafencing.org/store/exams - Practical Exam, Observation and Evaluation Study Guide (USFA recommended material) : https://www.usafencing.org Event Schedule: Details forthcoming by 1st of October, 2021 Fees: Seminar, $160 + Exam and Certification, $35 Due to increasing interest in Multiple Weapon certifications for all three blades, President, Maitre’ Burchard has graciously accepted to administer all three weapons As such the Coaching Clinic would be conducted in two days and the Referee class in one day. Saturday 23rd Oct. - Coaching 8 am - 12 pm Instructions 12:00 - 12:45 pm Lunch 12:45 - 3:00 pm Instructions - Refereeing 3:00 - 7:00 pm Instructions and Practical Sunday 24th Oct. - Coaching 8 am - 12 pm Instructions and Practical 12:00 - 12:45 pm Lunch 12:45 - 4:45 pm Remaining Practical Additionally, the hosts have made an arrangement with nearby Shady Grove Comfort Inn, for a substantial discount ($79 per night) for the attendees who need lodging.
