AFM Open Junior Epee Tournament

AFM Open Junior Epee Tournament is for Junior-age fencers (born 2003-2009) and is an excellent opportunity for fencers to practice towards the Summer Nationals that will happen in Minneapolis on July 2-11, 2022. Events Scheduled: Junior Men's Epee - 9am Junior Women's Epee - 9am Please note that the event start times are tentative and might be adjusted two days before the competition based on actual number of participants. Medals will be awarded to the top 4 fencers in each event. This is a sanctioned event and a competitive USA Fencing membership is required to participate in this event and will be confirmed upon registration. Payment should be processed by askFred to be registered. Unpaid entries will be counted as walk-ins and the walk-in fees will be charged if a fencer will be admited(in cash or check only). Event fees are $50 per event. Walk-in fees are $100 per event Refunds: withdrawal and refund requests should be made prior to 05/31/2022. On or after 05/31/2022 refunds will be not processed regardless of the reason. Fees are refunded $45 per event ($5 are kept due to the askFred fees.) To request a refund, please send an email with your fencer's name and your home address. Checks with refunds will be issued no later than 2 weeks after event completion and will be mailed to the address that you specified in the refund request. COVID protocols (subject to change at any time): - Everybody must wear a face mask, fully covering mouth and nose - All participants must show either proof of full vaccination or no more than 72 hours negative PCR test results. This includes fencers, parents, officials and siblings (older than 5 years old) - We will not be able to allow the entrance of anyone who did not follow these guidelines and will not be able to refund the fees for non-admission. Preregistration opens on 12/21/2021. Preregistration closes on 06/09/2022.
