FRED Announces the Oregon Division Junior Olypmics Qualifier Cadet and Junior events are qualifiers for the Junior Olympic FencingChampionships in Colorado Springs, CO in February, 2003. All fencerswho wish to fence at the JOs must qualify through this event unlessthey have sufficient national points to auto-qualify. This tournament is only open to full USFA members of the Oregondivision (no "Fence for Fun"). Fencers can join the USFA (or upgradeto full membership) at the event. Eligibility is based on birth year: Cadet events are birth years 1986-1989 Junior events are birth years 1983-1989 All times are close of registration. Events which close at the same time will not necessarily be fenced concurrently. Full USFA regulation uniform is required, including plastron,knickers and knee-length socks.
