Preregistration closes on 9/29/2017. Sanctioned by the North Texas Division as approved USFA Tournament Gold Blade Fencing Center in Southlake, TX is the host. VENUE Gold Blade Fencing Center 500 North Kimball St., Suite 103-C Southlake, TX 76092 REFEREE CADRE AND BOUT COMMITTEE TBD Please be sure to see close of registration times for your event(s) ENTRY FEES Pre-payment is not required for individual events, but heartily encouraged! $10 discount on Registration with pre-payment before September 29, 2017 on individual events. That means that registration at the door will be $35 instead of $25. Individual events Registration with Advanced Payment (before September 29, 2014): $25 At the door: $35 Event Fees: $15 per event $10 of the individual registration fee is NON-REFUNDABLE. Any requests for refunds due to outstanding and unusual circumstances are at the discretion of the organizers and will be processed after the tournament. EVENTS WITH FEWER THAN 4 FENCERS WILL NOT BE FENCED. IN THE EVENT THAT AN EVENT IS NOT HELD, PREPAID FEES WILL BE REFUNDED. AWARDS Top Eight each event TOURNAMENT ORGANIZATION All events will be fenced electrically. Masks, body cords AND LAMES! will be subject to equipment control. Cuffs are required. Original seeding will be based on National Rating (e.g., A03, B01, C04, etc) with appropriate use of National Rolling Points (it is the fencer's responsibility to inform the organizers if they are on the NRPS). One round of pools will be fenced; 100% promoted to DE's of 15 touches. Initial seeding, seeding after pools and final placements will be posted in the venue. Fencers are responsible for verifying the posted lists, and signing their pool and DE sheets. USFA MEMBERSHIP Fencers must be a USFA or FIE Member. Proof of membership is required - USFA membership forms will be available at the tournament. If you do not have proof of membership, you will be required to complete and pay for a membership. Fencers are reminded they need the signature of a parent or guardian (not a coach) on the membership form. Payment for memberships is made directly to the USFA (bring separate checks for the tournament and membership). WAIVER OF LIABILITY The North Texas Division Waiver of Liability is required to be filled out and signed (minors must have it signed by parent or guardian - not a coach!).
