Intro to Tournaments

This Tournament is for beginner fencers who have never competed in a USA Fencing sanctioned tournament. Each of the 3 events will be preceded by a 30 minute presentation explaining how fencing competitions are organized and run and will be followed by an actual competition with official referees and medals to the top three fencers. This is a great opportunity for new fencers and their families/supporters to learn about and prepare for fencing competition, which is really what all the classes, lessons and sparing at your fencing club has been all about, without the pressure, expense or overwhelming confusion of just jumping into a sanctioned tournament.
