Venue Four Seasons Health Club 1600 7th St. Sioux City, IA 51101 Schedule of Events Saturday, November 15: Mixed Foil - 9:00 a.m. Women's Foil - 10:00 a.m. Women's Saber - 12:00 p.m. Mixed Saber - 1:00 p.m. Sunday, November 16: +Mixed Team Epee - 9:00 a.m. Women's Epee - 9:30 a.m. Mixed Epee - 10:30 a.m. * Times listed are close of registration. Note: Women may fence in mixed events with payment of the additional weapon fee, provided they also fence the corresponding women's event. Double stripping will be allowed and we encourage you to fence multiple events. +Again this year - Team Epee! Due to the strength of the epee events we have added a mixed team event to allow fencers more bouts against competitors of similar abilities. The format will be 3 person teams with 45 touch team bouts. Teams will be divided into pools of similar strength with no DE's. Pools will be self refereed and there will be no Heartland Circuit points or awards for team events. This event is to be held strictly for your enjoyment, please treat it as such. Fees Registration ~ $20 Entry Fee (per event) ~ $10 Late Fee (per person) ~ $5 Awards 1st ~ Replica Sword. 1st - 8th ~ Engraved Medals. Team Pool Winners ~ Gift Certificates. Highest Unrated ~ Ribbons. Iron-Man/Woman ~ Replica Weapons. Weapons Control All equipment must meet USFA specifications. Masks will be punched. Weapons will be tested on strip. Reminder - foilists must have masks with conductive bibs and mask cords per USFA rules. Format The format will be one round of pools with everyone promoted to direct elimination. Registration USFA membership is required (forms will be available at the tournament). The entry deadline for online registration is November 10th. On-site registration will be allowed with payment of a late fee. Fees will be waived for A rated fencers. Scoring Equipment The SCFC is appealing to everyone, please bring scoring equipment to the tournament.
