All participants will receive a free admission ticket to the World Cup. (We are arranging to have a food truck/bbq on site for food, still to be confirmed). Preregistration closes on 02/06/2016. Age Restrictions : Y8 = birth year 2007 or later Y10 = birth year 2005 or later Y12 = birth year 2003 or later Y14 = birth year 2001 or later Tournament Fees payable online or at the door (Suggest online to avoid long lineups): Tournament Registration (one time fee): $20.00 USD/$25.00 CAD Event Fee: $15.00 USD/$20.00 CAD per event Tournament Rules, Regulations and Equipment: All times are close of registration, fencing to commence immediately afterward. Y8 and Y10 event DE's will be a 10 point bout with two 3 minute periods with a stoppage at 5 hits (whichever comes first). Y12, Y14, Cadet and Junior event DE's will be a 15 point bout with three 3 minute periods. Y8 and Y10 events ail use #2 or less blades. Y12 and Y14 events will use #5 or less blades. All events will require foil masks with bibs and head-wires. CFF, BCFA or equivalent (USFA, FIE, etc) membership is required to compete at any club tournament. New members might be required to show proof of membership at the registration desk. All fencers will be required to: * wear a fencing jacket, fencing pants with long socks, plastron, mask and a glove in good condition.All equipment must be 350 N CE graded. * NON-MARKING Athletic Shoes.
