ELIGIBILITY:
Fencers must possess a valid USA Fencing Access or Competitive level membership.
Tournament registration shall be restricted at the tournament organizer's discretion to
ensure compliance with local ordinances and laws.
TOURNAMENT REGISTRATION:
Preregistration opens on July 17, 2024.
Preregistration closes on August 2, 2024.
Registration will commence 20 minutes before the start of each event.
Tournament Registration is not completed until the Long Island Fencers' Club has accepted payment.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT:
This mixed-gender event consists of one round of pools with 100% promotion to the direct elimination table.
Fencers must follow the age restrictions set forth by the USFA. These restrictions can be found on the page here: https://www.usafencing.org/age-classification-eligibility

UNIFORM REQUIREMENTS:
All USA Fencing uniform requirements apply. This includes the mandatory use of knickers, long socks, and underarm protectors. Names are not required to be printed on the uniform.
TOURNAMENT FEES:
Event Fee: $25
Please note that refunds will not be issued for this event.
Tournament Registration is not completed until the Long Island Fencers' Club has accepted payment. Payment must be received three weeks before the event starts via a personal bank check made payable to the "Long Island Fencers' Club".
AWARDS:
Medals shall be awarded to the top eight results.
VENUE LOCATION & ACCESS:
Access to the fencing area shall be limited to athletes, tournament staff, and coaches with valid USFA Coach membership physical or digital card.

All staff and coaches are expected to fully comply with the USFA SafeSport policies, including appropriate valid Background Checks and up-to-date SafeSport training, as applicable.
