The Ralph Spinella Open

Ralph Spinella, a member of the 1960 Olympic fencing team and three time winner of the Can-AM Epee d' Or. Mr Spinella is a life long Connecticut resident. Ralph was always a fierce competitor and a gentleman as well. He has trained many of the top CT fencers over the years and fences to this day. He has plans to attend this event. We invite you to join him and the Candlewood family in a celebration of Ralph's achievements. There will be soft drinks and pizza for all. Trophies include full sized rapiers for first place and custom awards for second and third. This is a 6 weapon open. Featuring, as usual, handmade, one of a kind, spectacular trophies and medals to 4 places. Fees: On time AND prepaid registration - $30 + $15 per event. At door registration - $45 registration + $15 per event. Full USFA membership & equipment is required. Events Scheduled: Senior Women's Epee Senior Women's Foil Senior Women's Saber Senior Men's Epee Senior Men's Foil Senior Men's Saber . Events may be mixed if there are not enough fencers to seperate by gender (Minimum of 6)or seperated if there are at least 6 fencers per event. PARKING: There is parking in front of Federal Car Care,in the Catholic War Veteran lot , in front of Cutler Glass and in the sand lot past Cutler glass. Please DO NOT park behind CFC in the Counterworks lot, at the gas station or in the Extreme auto body area. We accept Checks and cash for at door entries. Please bring exact change. Preregistration opens on 02/03/2015. Preregistration closes on 05/15/2015.
