DB Mixed Vet 3 Blade

This is a three blade Veteran Mixed Open Tournament hosted by the Desert Blades Fencing Club. Fencers must show proof of a USFA membership for the 2012 - 2013 season. Membership application forms will be available at the venue. Fencers who are unable to present proof of membership may be required to fill out a new registration form and submit payment (which will be refunded or cancelled as soon as membership is verified with the USFA national office). Venue: Red Rock Fencing Center 5075 Cameron St, Suite C Las Vegas‎, Nevada 89118 Tournament Fees: Registration: $10 Event: $5 Events Scheduled: These are the events that we have scheduled and each event's respective close of registration. 1:15 PM Saber 2:15 PM Épée 4:15 PM Foil Format: The initial seeding for all events will be based on rating and year. All events will have one round of pools and 100% promotion to the direct elimination table. Fencers must have all required equipment and fencing clothing that meets USFA rules. Conductive bibs are required in foil at all tournaments for the 2012-2013 season. Registration at the door and check-in will open at approximately 12:30PM Events with fewer than three fencers preregistered on Ask FRED may be canceled at the organizers' discretion. Registration will close promptly at the times listed. Please plan to be at the venue at least 30 minutes before the close of registration for your event. Equipment check will consist of a visual inspection by directors at the strip. Weapons will be checked at the strip. Foil and epee weapons will be subjected to the 500g and 750g weight tests respectively, and epee weapons will be subjected to the point travel tests. Fencers who present non-working or untested equipment to the referee at the strip will receive the applicable penalty card. Pay registration fees at the door in cash. Please download the waiver, complete it, and present it when you register at the venue. Preregistration opens on 10/16/2012. Preregistration closes on 01/24/2013.
