FRED Announces the Indiana Division JO Qualifier,December 10, 2017 - Culver Academies, Culver, IN 46511. The Indiana Division Junior Olympics Qualifiers are the division qualification path for USA Fencing National Junior and Cadet Championships in February 16 - 19, 2018, Memphis, TN. Registration is now closed. Registration closed on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at midnight. There is NO walk-in registration for this tournament. There will be NO REGISTRATIONS AFTER DECEMBER 6th. Fencers who were pre-registered will be informed NLT December 8, 2017, by email the status of their event and whether or not they need to fence in the qualifier. The 2017 Indiana Division Junior Olympic Qualifiers were open to Indiana Division USFA members only. Participation should also be limited to only those Indiana Division Cadet (U17 - Birth Years 2001 - 2004) and Junior (U20 - Birth Years 1998 - 2004) fencers who, if they qualify, would attend USA Fencing Junior Olympics in February 2018. No Events will be fenced as all events with registered fencers contain no more than three fencers. These Events - events with three or less fencers will not be fenced, however, those fencers in events not fenced will be deemed auto qualified subject to the other qualification requirements within USFA Athlete Handbook. Please see the USFA Athlete Handbook for qualification paths and requirements. The following events WILL NOT BE FENCED Cadet Women's Epee Cadet Women's Foil Cadet Women's Sabre Cadet Men's Epee Cadet Men's Foil Cadet Men's Sabre Junior Women's Epee Junior Women's Foil Junior Women's Sabre Junior Men's Epee Junior Men's Foil Junior Men's Sabre Final results, if applicable, and ALL qualifying notices with instructions for registering for Junior Olympics with USA Fencing will be sent to qualifying fencers NLT Sunday, December 10, 2017.
