Strategy and Tactics Clinic with Coach Toby Lee for competitive epee and foil fencers: finding solutions to challenging opponents. SCHEDULE February 19 (Sunday) at Metro Tacoma Fencing Club (tacomafencing.com): 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM Strategy and Tactics Clinic. 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM optional round robin / open fencing session DETAILS Not going to Junior Olympics but still want to work on improving your fencing? We will work on analyzing your opponents to take advantage of their weaknesses, strategies to maximize your strengths, methods to help reduce the effectiveness of your opponent's best moves, the mental game, preparation, home drills, and strip coaching. This clinic will be geared towards the fencer who is rated C or below including unrated fencers of any age. It will focus on epee and foil. You do not need to be a fencer to join this clinic as we will focus on the mental aspect of fencing including strategy and tactics rather than technical skills. Family is welcome to join, but please pre-register on AskFRED so I have enough materials. COST Cost is $50 for the first fencer in a family and $20 for each additional fencers/support in the same family. The cost includes the optional round robin / open fencing session for those who want to try practicing some new strategies and tactics. Cash preferred. Checks accepted. I will not be able to take credit cards for this clinic (I don't have access to the credit card reader).
