2nd Annual WFA Sword-Masters Open

Come and enjoy the second annual Sword-Masters Open, marking the firstanniversary tournament of the Washington encing Academy! Sword-Masters and other sponsors will be providing a variety ofprizes, including fencing equipment, historical sword replicas, andmore. This also marks the second year epeeists will compete for theNicholas Timacheff Memorial Epee Trophy. The winner will have his orher name engraved on the trophy for the 2003-2004 season. Who willchallenge John Varney for the title this year???? We'll have refreshments and a celebration cake, as well. Come competeand celebrate! ---- Event Schedule ----- -- Saturday 11/08/03 -- 9:00 am -- Doors open, strip setup 9:30 am -- Mixed Epee registration closes 10:30 am -- Mixed Foil registration closes 12:00 pm -- Junior Epee registration closes 12:30 pm -- Junior Foil registration closes ---- Registration Information ---- Registration fee is $10 plus $10 per event entered. Tournament fees can be paid in cash, credit card (visa/mc) or check made out to WFA. ---- Tournament Rules ---- Proof of USFA membership (or equivalent) will be required of all participants at check-in. Please bring your current USFA membershipcard. You may join or renew your USFA membership at the door. All weapons will be scored electrically. Full USFA regulation uniform is required, including plastron, knickers, and knee-lengthsocks. No jeans or sweatpants allowed.
