Athletes without a current competitive membership must fill out all appropriate forms to pay for membership. Payment will be returned if membership cannot be verified. USFA rules apply. Full USFA regulation uniform is required, including plastron. Equipment (masks, lames, and body cords/head cords) will be inspected and marked. All Y10 events must be fenced with a size 0 or 2 blade. This rule will be enforced Armory will open for equipment control beginning Thursday October 26th, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The FCAZ Fencing Store (located within the venue) has a full line of equipment. It will be open during the tournament. SEEDING:Seeding for Events shall be based on the following order:1. Current national rolling point standings according to age group and weapon. 2. Letter ranking with year classification 3. Athletes with neither of the above are seeded on a random basis after the athletes who are seeded by the preceding factors. TOURNAMENT FORMAT All events will be one round of pools with 100% promotion to direct eliminations tableau. No fence off for 3rd place for individual events. POINTS AND CLASSIFICATION EARNINGS: Please see the Athlete Handbook for the latest details on points for RJCC/RYC events, as well as qualifications to National Events. Participation at an RYC qualifies fencers for Y10 events at the January & April NACs as well as Summer Nationals. Points are awarded based on the new USFA points guidelines.
