2017 SDFC RJCC Challenge (region IV)

PRE-REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED AND WE CAN'T MAKE ANY EXCEPTIONS. WE WILL ONLY BE ADDING A FEW UNDER AGE FENCERS WITH NATIONAL POINTS THAT CONTACTED US BEFORE THE DEADLINE AND ARE SENDING PAYMENT VIA MAIL. 2017 SDFC RJCC Challenge will be hosted at the East Valley Community Center in Escondido (CA). THIS IS A NEW VENUE WITH UP TO 16 GROUNDED STRIPS!!! Cadet & Junior events in all weapons. Registration and prepayment are required for RJCC events, No walk-ins allowed. RJCC events are run in accordance with USA Fencing rules and formats, this is a practice national event for our youth fencers and at National events, you cannot show up and pay at the door. EQUIPMENT: There will be a weapons check as it is required for RJCC events. This will give our fencers the practice needed for National events where they must always have their equipment checked before the start of their event. We will be checking masks, lames, gloves, FIE gloves for sabre, body cords and mask leads. Armorers are available to help fix small issues, plus please check your equipment thoroughly according to US fencing rules at the club before arriving. IN ORDER TO COMPETE, FENCERS MUST CHECK-IN AT THE VENUE WITH THE FOLLOWING IN HAND: 1. A USA Fencing membership card (valid for the current competitive season); AND 2. A waiver form that has been signed by a parent or legal guardian; AND 3. A birth certificate (copy acceptable) or other government-issued identification showing the fencer's birth date. USA Fencing membership card with date of birth verification confirm will suffice. Refunds: For refund of event fees withdrawals must be received by September 2nd, 2017. Registration fees are nonrefundable. NOTE: This RJCC has been sanctioned by the US Fencing National Office.
