2nd Annual International Epee Open at Medeo

BIG REMINDER: August 1st starts the beginning of the new season so you MUST RENEW YOUR USA MEMBERSHIP! If you do not have a valid card or printout of your 2015-16 renewal during check-in, you will be asked to step to the back of the line in order to complete the process! By not renewing your membership promptly and providing PROOF at check-in, you are holding up the tournament. PLEASE RENEW NOW AND PRINT PROOF. Last year this was a problem! International Guests! This event lands right in between our International and Elite Epee Camps! Join our international guests from Kazakhstan and Israel who will be competing here! Don't forget to renew your USFA membership online ASAP...and print out your temporary card to show at check-in! (This also makes check-in lines go faster!!!) Special Pricing: $35 IF you pre-register AND pay online by Saturday, 8/8*. $45 IF you pre-register online by Saturday, 8/8 BUT pay at the door. ABOUT DIRECTIONS: If coming from the Kearney St entrance (next to Absolute Fencing Gear): Use 30 Kearney St or Absolute in GPS. Please note that Kearney St is the entrance to our industrial park... once you turn onto Kearney St. (into our industrial park, with Absolute Fencing Gear to your right), you will turn RIGHT at the street before the first row of buildings on the right. (First street on the right.) We are then located all the way at the end on the left. *Please take down our number and call our office if you feel you might be a few minutes late or if you need directions: 732-469-2244 AGE REQUIREMENTS: Senior for this new season, means those fencers born in or before 2002. >>FIRST-TIME COMPETITORS SHOULD READ THIS CAREFULLY: Format and Sanctioning: This tournament is sanctioned by the New Jersey Division of the USFA. All fencers are expected to wear the required fencing attire (including knee-hi socks!) and bring at least two weapons and body cords that meet USFA requirements. There are no exceptions to the attire and equipment rules. You must have proof of valid USFA membership OR join the USFA at the event*. If you have not received your membership card yet for this season, but are listed on the usfencing.org membership list, print out a temporary card! *Visit http://www.usfencing.org for more info or to print out the USFA membership application -with payment- to bring with you on Sunday.
