Instructions based on the traditional English approach to the art of the sword, by the only Classical English trained Coach in the USA, Moniteur d’Armes Teja Safai. With emphasis on FOIL.
FENCERS ARE REQUIRED TO BRING THEIR EQUIPMENT ON THE FIRST DAY OF CAMP. Camp is most suitable for fencers with prior exposure to Fencing.
Rental equipment can be provided at $25 for the duration of camp.
Ample free parking on premises.
Parents or guardians are welcome to drop in for observation.
Snacks and fruits are provided, however lunch should be brought in by the camper from home.
To insure availability, full payment by Cheque or credit card, is expected 60 days (by May 15th, 2024) prior to the start of camp on July 15th 2024.
Full refund is granted for withdrawal and cancellation prior to June 15th 2024.
50% refund granted between June 15th and June 30th.
NO REFUNDS issued July 1st - July 15th.
Registration closes June 30th, 2024 if space is still available. NO LATE FEE applies for late registration.
Fencers are trained in English methods of footwork and blade work, common to all three weapons, Foil, Epee, Sabre.
Technical and tactical training is presented with application in each weapon. Fencers will engage in daily bouts, utilizing the material presented on that day.
2 days of Foil, 2 days of Epee’ and one day of Sabre are instructed, fencers can request extra focus on a particular weapon of choice and the needed time is provided by Assistant Coaches.
Commemorative medals and certificates of completion would be presented to the apprentices, and celebrated by a class barbecue on the last day of camp.
