The preregistration page on AskFred does not accurately reflect the total number of fencers participating in the camp, as it exclude non-US fencers who do not use AskFred and some US fencers who registered directly through the online registration system.
As of May 17, 2023, the registration status stands at 59 attendees, consisting of 49 athletes (37 in Men's Epee and 12 in Women's Epee) and 10 coaches, representing 9 countries (Ukrain, Switzerland, USA, France, Norway, Spain, Belgium, Cyprus, and Mauritus). The majority of the registered fencers possess international experience including medalist from international events.

The camp begins Fri. July 28th at 2:00pm and will finish Aug 6th with the "Challenge International de Bordeaux competition" (award ceremony scheduled at 4:00 pm).
The program includes:
FENCING: video analysis and mental aspects of performance, tactical footwork and exercises, structured and theme bouting, critical debriefings and individual feedback.
9:30am to 12:30pm - Morning session
2:30 to 5:00pm - Afternoon session
6:00 to 8:00pm - Evening session (open to the top cadet, junior and senior France local fencers)
ACTIVITIES: Bordeaux old town tour, a beach day and a walk around the picturesque vacation town of Arcachon, a visit to the medieval village of St Emilion.
There will also be two game nights, a dinner and wine tasting (for 21 and older). Daily activities will be suggested for parent chaperones.
---)-COACHES FORUM---------------------------------------
In addition to the camp, a coachesâ forum will be run daily. It will include 12 sessions where coaches will present a favorite topic followed by an exchange with the other coaches and / or a situational practice. The topics will include: Periodization, Strength & Conditioning, Technical and tactical footwork, Collective technical work, Bouting situations and goals, Individual lesson, Video analysis, Team dynamic, Mental preparation and Athleteâs lifestyle.
Coaches fee: 385 euros. It includes the 12 coachesâ forum sessions, all lunch meals and snacks as well as the day trips in Arcachon, Bordeaux and St Emilion.

SEBASTIEN DOS SANTOS - camp director: 5-time Olympic coach in modern pentahlon and fencing (France, Brazil, USA).
ANDREY GEVA: 2-time Olympic coach (2018 WE team World champion). Andrey will come with the athletes from his club Alliance Fencing in Houston, Texas.
FRANCO CERUTTI (TBC): National coach for the US ME team. Former director of epee for SWITZERLAND (2018 ME team World champion).
FREDERIC FENOUL: National coach for Belgium and for Neisser Loyola ranked #5 in the world. Frederic will come with the athletes from the Belgium national team.
CODY MATTERN: Olympian and team World champion. Fencing Master. Former North West Fencing Center coach.
SETH KELSEY: 3-time Olympian and team World champion. 4th at the London Olympic Games. Former epee coach of the US modern pentathlon team.
JIMMY MOODY: Team Pan American champion (2015). Olympic individual coach.
MAXIME BOURDAGEAU: Former assistant national coach for the French cadet national team. Specialized in Boxing.
MICHAEL BINDAS: NCAA NJIT and Medeo coach. Speaks both French & English

585â¬. Fee includes: 10 days of camp, a pair of fencing socks, lunchtime meals, all activities, and the entry fee for the "Challenge international de Bordeaux" on the 6th.
385⬠for the top 8 seniors, top 4 juniors and top 2 cadets on National Ranking.

Fencing lesson, Boxing lesson, Sport psychology session, Individualized strength and conditioning session, Massage therapy session, Osteopathic session.

The Bordeaux airport (BOD) is located 20 minutes from the training center. The Bordeaux train station is 10 minutes away. Local transportation will be provided to and from the airport and the train station.
Paris downtown is located 2:04 hours from Bordeaux by high-speed train. There is also a 3:35 hours direct train from the Paris CDG airport.
The city of Toulouse and its TLS airport are located a little more than 2 hours away from Bordeaux by train.
