Ark-La-Miss Division Summer National Qualifier

Annual Division Championship is only open to Ark-La-Miss Division members with a current competitive USFA membership, 13 years old or older. Division meeting to follow the end of competition on Sunday, April 23, 2023. April 22 & 23, Fees: (online Pre-payment remains unavailable) Fees: $20.00 - One-time Registration Fee $10.00 - per event Forms of payment taken at the event: Cash Checks (made payable to Ark-La-Miss Division) There will be no walk-up registrations allowed. This tournament is only available to members of the Ark-La-Miss Division Even though no payments will be taken online, all entries will be approved before posting as complete on the "Who's Coming" list. **Annual Membership Meeting will take place after fencing on Sunday, April 23rd, 2023** IMPORTANT TOPICS WILL BE DISCUSSED AT THE DIVISIONAL MEETING. WE ASK THAT AT LEAST ONE MEMBER FROM EACH USFA MEMBER/AFFILIATE CLUB BE PRESENT AND EXPECT TO PARTICIPATE. New Officers will be elected for all positions. (This is how we contact you about updates to the tournament) ****VENUE **** Caddo Magnet High School 1601 Viking Dr. Shreveport, LA 71101 Any event having less than 4 registered competitors at the close of pre-registration on April 21st, 2023 WILL NOT BE FENCED. The fencers registered and paid for in those events will be considered the only qualifiers in that event. WAIVER OF LIABILITY The waiver will be provided at the venue. It must be signed by the parent/guardian of those under 18 years of age and presented at check-in. REFEREES: Andy Shaw James Sullivan --------------------------------------------------------- Format: All individual events will be 1 round of pools with 100% promoted to a single-elimination DE tableau. Awards are given to the top 3 for Div 2/3 and the top 2 for Y14 Original seeding will be based on classification (e.g., B13, C11, etc.). Initial seeding, seeding after pools, and final placements will be posted in the venue. Unlike most regional tournaments, the third-place bout WILL be fenced.
