OSM Fencing 2022-2023 Circuit OSM Fencing 2022-2023 Circuit Tournament#2 featuring Y8, Y10, Junior, and Senior Foil and Cadet and Senior Epee. This is a SANCTIONED tournament, all fencers must have a current CFF license in order to participate. This tournament is a training event for all OSM Fencing members (internal club points will be earned at this event for all OSM Fencing members who attend). NOTE: This is a sanctioned tournament and requires current CFF membership in order to participate. Event Schedule (Close of Check-in): *Y8 Men's Foil (9:30AM) *Y8 Women's Foil (9:30AM) *Y10 Men's Foil (12:45PM) *Y10 Women's Foil (12:45PM) *Cadet Men's Epee (9:30AM) *Cadet Women's Epee (9:30AM) *Junior Men's Foil (3:45PM) *Junior Women's Foil (3:45PM) *Senior Men's Foil (12:45PM) *Senior Women's Foil (12:45PM) *Senior Men's Epee (3:45PM) *Senior Women's Epee (3:45PM) NOTE: If there are fewer than 6 entries in an event, the men's and women's event will be combined. Registration Fee: *First event $20.00, each additional event $15.00 *No Fee for OSM Fencing members Uniform Requirements: All fencers must have full uniform (min. 350CE), weapon-appropriate mask, plastron, chest protector, knee-high socks. OSM Fencing will have a limited amount of club uniforms, masks, lamés, wires, foils, and gloves available for those needing to supplement their uniform needs. Mask wires are mandatory for all foil events. Must use weapon-specific mask. Event Format: Round of Poules with 100% promotion to Direct Elimination. Finals for both events will be held for the end of the tournament day. Medals issued to top 4, certificate of placement available for all competitors. When Men's & Women's events are combined, medals will be issued to the Top 4 of each category. COVID-19 Safety Protocols: All fencers are encouraged to wear face mask/covering at all times (except for water breaks), including while fencing, but are not required. Handshaking is prohibited, tap blades in place of the handshake. Parking: Roadside parking only. Video and Photography: In attending this tournament you understand and give permission to appear in photography and video documenting events participating in and/or spectating. Fencers, family members, friends, and spectators are permitted to take video and photography at this event. Please note that the finals of each event will be recorded and available for viewing on the OSM Fencing YouTube channel.
